Well it's definitely toffee apple season BUT they are an absolute pain to make and not the most child-friendly activity (despite their sweet name!). So we always opt for the cute little sister of the toffee apple...enter the chocolate apple!
This is a very cute activity, perfect for a rainy day and require very few ingredients. What's not to like!

If it's a reeeeaaaaly rainy day (sadly not unusual on our little rock!) you can turn it into a lovely crafting session too by gift wrapping the goodies. If you've not got cellophane in then get busy with the felt tip pens on sheets of baking baking to make your own pretty wraps.
